Installation Details Installation for double hung is the same as for sliding. Inside opening should be 28mm bigger than frame size to allow for plaster and easy installation. What kind of timber reveals do Rainbow use?
Rainbow uses Maple timber for staining or primed for painting. Please advise the staff which one you would like.

What standard colours does Rainbow have?
Rainbows standard colours are Brown, Black, White, Stone Beige and Primrose. Other colours are available on request but take longer and cost more.

What style of windows and doors does Rainbow offer?
Rainbow has Casement, Awning, Sliding, Double Hung, and Garden Bay Window. Also in our door range Sliding, Bi-fold, French and Stacking Doors.

Does Rainbow sell spare parts?
Yes, if need to replace a part drop into our factory and talk to one of our sale reps.

Does Rainbow install windows and doors?
We have highly recommended contractors that would be more then happy to come out and give you a FREE measure and quote. Just contact Rainbow and we will work out the rest for you.

How do I remove the fixed sash to get re-glazed?
If sliding window remove the screws form top and bottom and should come out easily.

How do I install the screens?
To install the screens you must fit (if sliding) from the inside (double hung either inside or out). Firstly remove the sliding sash, put screen on a bit of an angle and then slide into the last channel.

Does Rainbow make custom made windows?
Yes. Rainbow makes all different sized windows to your specification.

What measurement do I give to get a window made?
Either the aluminium or stud opening size just let one of the sales reps, no which size you, are using.

Are the wheels on the doors adjustable?
Yes, they are. This has been done in case a door has gone out of square during installation.

Is everything made before being sent out?
Yes, everything gets manufactured before leaving the factory then pulled apart for delivery this is so we know everything is working before installed.
